LIWA Allocate Funded Aflex Inflatable Toys to Regional WA
We're excited to be working closely with LIWA Aquatics (Leisure Institute of Western Australia) in manufacturing up to 90 'George' sealed pool toys for Western Australia's regional pools!
LIWA Aquatics was allocated funding through the Government of Western Australia’s Royalties for Regions program, with the express purpose of assisting regional aquatic facilities. Royalties for Regions underpins the State Government’s commitment to developing Western Australia’s regional areas into strong and vibrant regional communities that are desirable places to live, work and invest.
The allocation of our inflatable ‘Georges’ to WA’s regional aquatic facilities will assist in keeping children more active and engaged at regional pools.
LIWA Aquatics President Jeff Fondacaro highlights, “The Board of LIWA Aquatics is very proud to be associated with this project that will see increased physical activity and fun in regional pools across Western Australia. The allocation of this funding along with annual grant of $32,000 to all regional pools over the last three years has seen pools rejuvenated, programs developed and new equipment on pool decks. It is a great win for our facilities in rural communities across the state.”
Our ‘Georges’ are printed with LIWA Aquatics and Watch Around Water branding, and feature a new handle design with improved durability.
We're proud to have been offered this contract from our friends at LIWA and we can't wait to see how the regional pools enjoy their new Aflex pool toys!
