Bangor YMCA Uses Aflex Inflatable to Promote Health and Fitness
This Saturday, the Bangor YMCA (in Maine, USA) opens up the new Aflex manufactured pool obstacle course for their "Healthy Kids Day."
The 16 m Crocodile Full of Fun water inflatable was donated by the Dead River Company to the Bangor YMCA to encourage children's health and fitness.
With numerous climbs and a slide the Crocodile Full of Fun provides ample opportunity for kids to get exercise. It is a uniquely challenging and versatile inflatable model suitable for a wide range of ages, and up to three people at a time. Using a medium capacity blower the inflatable can be setup and used within about 15 minutes.
Scott Gray, Dead River Company manager noted in an interview that "active healthy children stand a better chance of doing better in school." The company donated all of the funds necessary to manufacture and ship the Aflex product to Maine.
WABI NEWS 5 covered the story of the new water inflatable opening, which will be used for various YMCA youth activities including their afterschool programme and summer camp. Moreover, the YMCA also plans to rent the pool obstacle course out at other times for birthday parties and other celebrations.
